Arden Divers was formed in 2025 by a group of friends from across South Warwickshire who just wanted to have fun going diving together. And meet up socially between diving trips. It’s a simple idea, but it seemed to catch on, because within a few weeks of forming we had 15 members! And a bunch of trips in the calendar.
We aim to create a warm, inclusive community that enables and empowers people to go diving with friends, and develop their diving, in the way that they want to.
It’s early days for us, and we’re still working out just how we work, but if you’re looking for a bunch of friendly, supportive buddies and live in South Warwickshire, we could be the club you’re looking for.
Arden Divers is a branch of the British Sub-Aqua Club, Britain’s biggest diving club. We have plenty of qualified and experienced BSAC instructors amongst our members, so if you’re looking to progress your diving we can help with that too. We welcome divers who have trained with other agencies, such as PADI or SSI.
Or perhaps you’re new to diving and want to learn? We don’t (yet) have regular access to a pool, but we can work with our partners to get you through your initial diver training and welcome you to this amazing sport.
We’re a relaxed bunch, joined by a passion for the underwater world, and the fact that we all live in South Warwickshire—about as far from the sea as it’s possible to get in England! We meet up socially most Wednesday evenings, and organise regular diving trips, whether it be to Stoney Cove (a quarry in Leicestershire), the UK coast, or abroad to warm clear waters. Sound good? Get in touch.
What do we mean by South Warwickshire? We draw our members from towns including Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick, Leamington Spa, Henley-in-Arden, Shipston-on-Stour, Bidford-on-Avon and the surrounding areas. But if you’re a little bit further away, that’s not a problem.
