Membership
Membership of Arden Divers costs £180 per year. If you are paying for a training course, or have been a member continuously for 12 months or more, you can pay monthly by Direct Debit at £15 per month.
Arden Divers is a branch of the British Sub Aqua Club (BSAC) and you will need to join BSAC too. This brings additional benefits, including a subscription to BSAC’s monthly magazine, SCUBA, £10m third party liability insurance and access to discounts on equipment and trips. The annual costs of BSAC membership are shown below.

Training
All club training is provided by volunteer instructors who generously give their time without charge. We do, however, make a small charge for training to help cover expenses. For Ocean Diver training, this fee also includes the loan of basic diving equipment during the course.
In addition, you will need to purchase a training pack from BSAC. These are available either as a course pack to accompany face to face theory teaching, or as an eLearning pack, enabling you to work through the theory teaching online at your own pace. We recommend face to face for most people.
Costs for these are shown below. We know it can be a little tricky to work out just what you will pay overall, so we have included an indicative up-front total cost, assuming full adult membership of BSAC, face to face theory teaching, and paying your Arden Divers membership monthly.
